In this issue:

Ben
I think this might be our biggest issue yet, with so many great photos from the AGM, along with stories from a couple of trips away. It certainly made me a little jealous!
As “Editor”, I’d like to say a big thank you to my beautiful wife, Fleur, for all her hard work in preparing these newsletters. With the new software she has been learning, she’s been able to include so much more detail, with photos and stories from all of the club’s outings and events. She’s also added her own flair and sense of humour, which I hope you all enjoy as much as I do.

Fleur
I’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent in photos and stories over the past 12 months. It’s a real pleasure putting everything together and seeing what everyone has been up to.
Because we no longer live in Port, it would be easy to lose touch and perhaps feel like we’re no longer quite as much a part of the group. But every time I receive a story or see your photos, it makes me feel much closer to you all and reminds me that we’re still very much connected. Ben and I really enjoy that connection that we all share through the club, and we’re very grateful for it.
I’d also like to give a special thank you to Robin for all his support over the years. It will certainly be strange not seeing you in the Treasurer’s seat! You’ve been such a steadfast presence in the club, and you’ll be missed.
Congratulations to everyone taking on a new role, and well done to those willing to go around again!
Here’s to another twelve months of fun, friendship and plenty of fishing tales.
