Materials
- Hook – Scud size 8
- Thread – Green woolly nylon
- Weight – 10 turns, .020 lead free wire
- Tail/Body – Variegated yellow/black small chenille.
- Thorax – Chocklett’s Finesse Body Chenille olive (large 1 1/4″)
Tying Instructions
- Prepare the extended bodies all at once.
- Wind the lead free wire onto the hook and cover with thread.
- Tie the variegated extended body on top of the hook.
Pictured body may be too long.
- Tie in the chenille at the eye and back to the bend of the hook.
- Wrap the chenille with touching wraps to the eye.
- Tie it off, whip finish or half hitch.
- Apply Sally Hansen or water-based head cement.
