The Covid virus struck again last month and the long-awaited trip to Dunmore to celebrate the opening of the 2021 trout season had to be cancelled as Port Macquarie went into a seven day lockdown. The season is changing once again and on the 1st of June we officially welcomed in winter. The annual closure for brown, rainbow and brook trout, and salmon will start at the conclusion of the June long weekend on Tuesday 9 June and re-open at the start of the October long weekend. Read More »

Greetings from Darwin, it’s hot! Most days are averaging 350 but as the dry season has arrived at least it isn’t humid any more. Lovely to catch up with the family again, especially our two year old granddaughter who is the second youngest and distant member of our club. Read More »
